Breadboard Shield 400 Ver 1.0 Features

The Breadboard Shield allows you to easily connect and disconnect a 400 tie breadboard from your arduino Uno:

All of the Uno's pins are connected to the shield. Even the ICSP pins in the middle of the baord. Allthough the ICSP pins are available elsewhere having the accessable on both ides of the shield make for convient wiring. It will also work on the Arduino Mega but you will not have access to all of the Mega ports on the shield.

The six pin header on the lower left is connected to the ICSP grouping. Each pin is labled for ease of identification. On the lower right side of the board is a six pin header connected to the two open buttons and the two LEDs on the lower right. Starting a the top of the Button / LED (lower right) the pin mappings are:

  1. SW1 Pin 1.
  2. SW1 Pin 2.
  3. SW2 Pin 1.
  4. SW2 Pin 2.
  5. L2 Blue LED (positive).
  6. L1 Green LED (positive).
Both LEDs are wired to a resistor, safe to connect them to either the 5 or 3.3 volt source without burning them out.

Other features include:

  1. Red power LED in the upper left hand corner.
  2. Yellow LED on upper right hand corner connected to Arduino pin 13.
  3. Reset button with a shorther stem next to the open buttons.
  4. Lables next to all pin for ease of identification.
